WEBJan 31, 2015 · The actual boomette.mdl file is hidden inside the pak01_dir.vpk, which requires special tools to open. You shouldn't need to mess with it unless you have a major desire to mod it. Go to your Library tab, find Left 4 Dead 2, right click on it.
