Several flights to and from Bali have been cancelled after the Mount Lewotobi Laki-laki volcano began spewing ash as high as 9km in the sky.

The three major airlines have greenlit planes to fly between Bali and Australia after volcanic ash clouds left travellers stranded this week.

Thousands of people headed to and from the tourist island of Bali have reportedly been left stranded at airports due to volcanic and seismic activity.
